Andalusia Tech is the only Campus of Excellence in the southern half of Europe found in the top international category. It is a space to generate knowledge and innovation created by the universities of Seville and Malaga in which more than 150 members participate.

Cultural Leadership

The Centre of Cultural Initiatives of the University of Seville (CICUS) has energised the cultural panorama of the Andalusian capital. Activities such as the 21 Degrees summer series and the focus on the Annunciation church are clear examples of cultural leadership.

Complete EHEA Adaptation

The University of Seville has adapted all of its studies to the European Higher Education Area. Academic offerings for the 2010-2011 school year include 57 degree programmes, 72 official Masters programmes, and 150 US degrees.

Research for Excellence

The University of Seville is among the top seven Spanish Universities in funds granted for research. In addition, in 11 of the 22 possible fields of research that ESI uses for their data bases are recognised as having high international impact.

International Dimension

The only way to be authentic university students in the 21st century is with an international vocation. In a few years the number of US students who take their studies around Europe with Erasmus scholarships has tripled. Currently, more than five thousand international students study at US.

Transfer of Knowledge

The University of Seville is ranked third among Spanish Universities as far as patents obtained in the last decade. The US has brought about the creation of 30 technology-based companies, four of which bill over one million Euros.
